GMC

Apologies the Blog has been pretty quiet of late.... but....

Our first game for September Release on DS is now GMC (Gold Master Candidate) and is awaiting approval....

Survey Results

With the number of votes, I am surprised we haven't had Google on the phone asking us to restrict bandwidth, and complaining of a down turn in speed on the intergoogleweb.

Drum roll....

With a massive 3 votes ... yes count 'em 3 votes.. the winning vegatable is Potato, everything else came a close second with 1 vote each.... (Carrot, Parsnip, Turnip, Marrow) Everyone likes chips then.

Onto Tertiary colour, bet Wikipedia got a few hits on this one. Well again with a stonking 3 votes Harlequin came out cream of the crop, or should that be green of the crop. It was a close run thing with Marigold coming a close second with 2 votes, bottom of the pile are Scarlet and Magenta, both with no votes! Well let's face it you wouldn't dress your dog in those colours.

So that's that, not really sure what we were expecting.

Designer

The designer will be responsible for the production of design documents, that plan and direct the player experience.

The designer will be required to help generate the design requirements for all disciplines.

The designer will be required to implement the game play experience, using tools provided.

The designer will work collaboratively with a small team of designers, programmers and artists.

Job Requirements
· Minimum of 2 years industry experience as a designer
· Proven experience in creating game play mechanics
· Proven experience in flowcharting and GUI design
· Ability to understand and use custom tool sets
· Complete Understanding of the game development cycle
· Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
· Desire to learn, and participate in all areas of game development
· Ability to work within technical constraints
· Able to work productively with minimum supervision
· Ability to schedule own tasks realistically

2D / 3D Animator

The animator will be required to create 2D / 3D character / object animation and 3D rigs using latest tools and technologies.
